I purchased this DVD Player for the kids, as it was cheap. (£70 from Tesco's at the time). I was very nicely surprised to see just how good the quality was. This player plays all Films well, and has an extensive remote control which includes sebtitles, zoom and angle etc. It also plays films in the vcd format. I had a disc which i made which had holiday film on, which was recorded using the SVCD format, but it wouldn't play it. After looking around the internet, i found a firmware update for it. All i had to do was to copy the update on to a disc, and then turn on the DVD player with the disc in. 20 seconds later, it was done. Just had to take the disc out and then turn the DVD Player off by the mains for 15 seconds, and then it was complete. A good quality DVD player which now plays DVD, CD, VCD, SVCD and MP3. Also, the firmware update makes this player multi-region. (Any help on this subject can be found by searching for this model on dvdhelp.com). The only downside to this great player is that it does look quite cheap. The front looks a bit plasticy, but for the price, who cares! In conclusion, i would recommend this budget DVD player to anybody, because this 'Budget' Player puts most of the top brands to shame. Well Played Dansai!!
