Disadvantages: Won't work with some revisions of pc-chips mainboards.

...This card is great for game playing and has great capabilities but as i have seen in one of the other opinions on the voodoo 4 the support isn't very good. Price: Between £50 - £70 Depending on retailer.... The voodoo does the job but will refuse to work on some of the pc-chips mainboards which in my experience is a very highly used mainboard at the present time the main one to watch for is the pc-chips 810 series. Socket a athlon/duron series. The main one i have come across is the 810lr and 810lmr the lr model is an older model but the lmr is the newer one that i have used alot in building computers for customers and friends. So if you are considering buying one of these remeber if you have a pc-chips mainboard to check it out first. ...This is the intel D865PERL motherboard, I purchased one for £125 from ebuyer.co.uk. Packaging The moterboard comes in a box designed with intel colours (blue and orange) with a picture of the board on the front. On the back of the box is another picture of the board but this one is labelled with all of its features. The board came in an anti-static bag which was sitting on a thin layer of foam inside the box. Also included in the box is a metal faceplate which is quite strong compared to a lot of others, 2 IDE cables, 1 Floppy drive cable and a SATA150 cable. Features Five PCI slots - Even though i have used up all of these slots i think this is a sufficient ammount for most users. Advantages: Plenty of access via the side panel, handy front USB & Firewire sockets
Disadvantages: Quite large and heavy

...Strong and sturdy, with plenty of room to work inside, and conservative, understated looks, I would rate this as an excellent case for a gamer's PC. It's a little large, but that shouldn't put off the serious gamer. The only problem I've had is that the door on the front has broken off (a silly mistake on my part, nothing to do with the construction of the unit. I don't know if it would be possible to replace the side panel to display case mods/lighting, but I suppose it's feasible. I have LED fans (80mm) in mine, which look really great in the front grille. I'm about to rebuild my system all over again, and I have no intention of replacing the case, it's a great unit, worth every penny.... Read review
