...I was looking for a low cost video editing solution, to play around with home videos of the family. I have always been interested in this as a hobby, and used the Amiga and genlock for video titling in the past. Last year, I traded in my old svhs-c camcorder, for a JVC digital model, and started to look for ways of getting my videos edited cheaply. I had seen the price of firewire cards coming down, and was drawn to the ADS Pyro DV card. Having checked out their site, I found a dealer in the UK selling them for a very low price. I have no affiliation with this company, but have nothing but praise for LynxDV, who offered a brilliant service. Advantages: cheap,attractive, all the basic requirements needed

Advantages: It is very quiet with a huge range of "Hot Keys"
Disadvantages: You will never be told to stop and go to bed, so major insomniac in the making!

Power Off Symbol = First correct guess wins a free Lynx Razor. ~~ In Summary The keyboard comes with Software CD that requires installing, the software is compatible with Windows 95, 98, and 2000. Accompanying the software CD is a small manual, which is not great but explains the ins and outs reasonably well. I would recommend that you remove the contents of the c:\windows\temp directory before installing the software, I would also recommend that you install the British Language version of the software and not the German. Of course “FromtheContinent” you can use whatever language version your heart desires. ~~ Food for thought About 15 years ago we sat at our Mainframe Terminals with their accompanying cumbersome keyboards...
