a difference there was between the 2, PS3 has lots of nice features, browser(altho it's a pain to use it, seriously, switch the pc on instead), etc. but for gaming, xbox live wins all day long!!!! It's solid, wheras the PS3 effort, just.....isn't, it's clearly the poor relation!!! Xbox live just seems to stay connected, EA & Sony, pay attention, upgrade your servers or something! & what is "HOME" all about? was on it for a bit, & just thought, this is really sad!
One thing I had thought was going to be rubbish was the Achievements feature, it's actually really addictive & somehow draws you back to a game that you would have classed as "finished", personally I prefer it to the PS3 trophy setup but only because of the points system "points make prizes" ha-ha, ok on this occasion they don't, it's just really bragging rights with mates.

The microsoft xbox360 is in my opinion the best games console out there, ultimately enhanced by the superb online gameplay capabilities and magnificient graphics which it has.
It is incredibly easy to use (even my dad can use it) and it is easy to transfer date from a computer to it also.
There is a huge variety of games that can be played on it and the games that can only be played on the xbox360 (gears of war, halo 3) are better than the games that can only be played on Sony Playstation 3 (Little Big Planet).
Even though the online gameplay costs, (£5 a month if paying monthly) it makes up for it with seriously awesome gameplay compared to PS3 live which is free however not as good.

The graphics are great! - amazing in fact! i have been very impressed! playing the XBox360 is extremely fun and entertaining, the only problem is you wont be able to turn the thing off and can easily waste half a day or more...
The hard drive is easy to install and can be used to save game data, vidoes and mp3's..
The wireless controllers are great and make game play much easier as there are no long wires to keep worrying about, i have found though that the batterys dont last very long.
The controllers are a nice size and are comfortable and easy to use.
I purchased a 64mb memory card for approx £20. This allowed me to save game data to the card.
The wireless adaptor is really secure and is very easy to use.

XSATA lets you free up hard drive space by transferring content between your console and your PC. Using your XBOX 360 file manager software such as the free PC app Xplorer 360, you can use XSATA to transfer materials from your console's hard drive to your PC, using your computer's hard disc space to store demos, game saves and other such materials you're not currently using.
