Advantages: Cheaper setup than PS3, better pad, best game selection, xbox live is amazing Disadvantages: Paying for xbox live (after 3years of live, a PS3 works out cheaper), can be noisey, Wi-Fi is extr
Ok, here's a quick run down of my thoughts on the 360, probably throw in a few comparisons with the PS3, won't bother too much with the Wii since it's not really what I would class as a serious games machine, good fun in short spells or with "non-gamers" but that's about it.
Had the 360 for a couple of years now, I was seduced by Halo 3 having been addicted to the first 2 games on the original, I'm a little bit of a FPS nut so I'm well covered with the 360 as that seems to be the systems main genre as it was with the original. It's probably been the most fun system I've owned since the dreamcast (class machine, sorely missed) or the mega drive (Genisis for anyone on the wrong side of the Atlantic).
Main reasons for going with the 360? ok, it's initially cheaper to buy in the short term (works out more expensive over time with xbox ...

Advantages: comes in a sleek black wireless remote hdmi port Disadvantages: a bit loud just like the rest
i had recently bought the xbox360 elite and let me tell you it is most deffantly worth it i have been through a number of the core consoles because of the red ring of death issue and i finally decided to go with the elite and i must its worth it and because of the recent price drop i was able to get it, along with the new chip set on this bad boy it features a 120 gig hard drive wireless controller and a hdmi port to get the full HD experience and in my opinion is the way to go if your looking for an upgrade or just getting into the console market but i must say if you upgrade to the elite from a core or premium you will have to buy a data migration kit to transfer your data from your old hard drive to your new one unforunatlly you will have to call microsoft and purchase the kit. But all in all this is the way to go if your looking ...

Advantages: Easy to use, Reliable Disadvantages: Expensive
Xbox live is undoubtedly one of the main draws of the Xbox360, and due to the fatc my Xbox was too far from a wired internet connection, i had to find a wireless way.
The official wireless adapter seemed the best choice, widely availble, and being official, pretty much guaranteed to work.
And thats true, it worked, very easily, simply plugging into the back, then scanning for connections on my xbox, then at the push of a button I was connected.
It is a very good piece of kit, however it is rather expensive, as its counterparts for laptops and PCs would be available much cheaper.
I have had some issues with the internet choosing not to connect, but these are rare, and on occasions the connection can be rather slow.
I would stioll recommend this nonetheles, as it is a reliable piece of equipment that allows Xbox360 users ...
