Another masterpiece!
Review of The Gilded Chain - Dave Duncan by paulds117

Advantages: A gripping read, one of Duncan's best
Disadvantages: The book ends...

...One of Dave Duncan's latest miracles. As always, he manages to take the reader away to a magical land of kings and knights, no less real than the one we live in. This book is about one of the "Kings Blades"; A elite group of swordsmen, bound to the king in absolute loyalty with a magic ritual. The story centres on King Ambrose's champion, Sir Durendal, who we follow on journeys to far-off lands, and through unforgettable battles, until finally he has to choose between doing what's right, and loyalty to his King. An absolute must for any Fantasy lover.... Read review

Anyone Can Do It - Duncan Bannatyne
Review of Anyone Can Do It - Duncan Bannatyne by innercircle

Advantages: Excellent Read, Funny and Sad, but wrote in a fantastic way.
Disadvantages: Book not long enough

...After watching Dragon's Den I thought Duncan was very rude, however after reading his latest book I see him in a different light and to be honest I think the guy is great. Coming from Glasgow and having a very poor lifestyle Duncan talks about his life from the troubles he had at school to joining the navy and life on HMS Eagle, the funny bit is when he got an dishonourably discharge for attempting to throw his commanding officer overboard. While he was on the dole he talks about how he travelled over parts of the UK and Jersey doing odd jobs and making ends meet. There are lots of laughter in this book and also times of sadness especially when Duncan lost his sister Helen in 1972 from suspected DVT. By the time yoou have read this book you just want to get hold of Duncan and cuddle him.... Read review

Insight into the world of MacB
Review of Macbeth - William Shakespeare by Rolf_harris

Advantages: This is a thoughly good read and can be set in any time
Disadvantages: some may find the language a bit hard to grasp

...I have recently read this play for school and i think i know it quite well, anyway i dont want to give any of the story line away so ill just give you a glimps into the wide variety of charaters... Macbeth he is a mighty and ambitious warrior who leads one of king duncans armies. Macbeth hears a prophecy that one day he will be king of scotland. This leads him to be more ambitious but also more willing to undermine people, this lieads to him murdering his cousin duncan. He is then elected king of scotland but becomes a cruel and sadistic man who is an unjust and untrustworthy king. He is throughout the play concious of his guilt and never knows a moments peace after he kills duncan. Duncan Duncan is the king of scotland at the start of the play, however does not live to see the end of the play as macbeth murders him. Diuncan... Read review
