My hair is straight and i use it. I find it excellent for keeping my hair where i want it, the wax is also waterproof which prevents frizziness where moisture gets in for instance on foggy or damp days. Those type of days will make you hair flop but not when using dax wax.

The only problem with it being water proof is that it is hard to totally remove to product from you hair unless you but the miracle product, which this review is about. I just felt that you needed to know a little about the product that requires the shampoo.

This shampoo is ideal for anyone who uses many hair products on their hair especially dax wax. Your hair feels smooth, product free and looks healthy. If you do not out more products on your hair and go for a smooth look this shampoo will allow you to acheive that look, possibly with the help of a hair dryer and straighteners. You do not necessarily have to use dax wax to use this shampoo for instance if you use alot of lacquers or otehr waxes this shampoo will remove them. Some times i find it is useful to only use it once a week and use a normal shampoo the rest of the week as you hair may only need de-producting every so often.
The shampoo is yellow in colour and smells clean, fresh and delightful which is also passed onto your hair. The texture of the shampoo is jelly like so you get littlw air bubbles in and it looks like one of those gel laval lamps and not much is needed.

It is also worth noting that this shampoo will not remove colours that you may have on you hair unlike other products such as vosene. I also find that this shampoo leaves your scalp dandruff free and in my experience and feeling clean and fresh. As i put dax on my hair most days it feels nice to let you hair breath and be natural. This shampoo will do that for you.

For me there is a little downside to using dax. I do find that when you first put the shampoo on it does not lather up properly (maybe this is to do with the water up in the north being hard) the second application works a treat though that is when you get the most out of you shampoo. As i said this may be something to do with the water or might have something to do with the fact that i use dax wax everyday and there must be a build-up of product
the major downfall is the price it is around £4.00 a bottle from boots i cannot seem to find this item anywhere else. I have found it in one shop which is a professional hairdressing shop, so it might be worth checking in one if you have one near by you might save a few pence. I have also found a shampoo that it around a tenner a bottle so maybe dax is not that dear after all.

i have spoke to my hair dresser regarding this product and he said that rubbing a little washing up powder in your hair will remove the products, i have not tried this but feel free to and get back to me, i am not sure what it would do to your hair so thats why i am a little dubious about trying it.
i hope this helps you all decide whether purchase or not but i definantly reccomend it, as it works for me and i'll continue to buy it.
