Lenses purchased direct from daysoft, the site was easy to navigate, full of useful information. The packaging of these lenses is a lot smaller than ordinary daily disposables, and they are opened in a different manner to normal, but the website has clear instructions on how to do this, its not complicated, and you dont spill any saline. Instructions are also included with you order for those that didn't read the online version. The packaging being small has three benefits, 1 - less is used so it is more environmentally friendly. 2 - less packaging means lower cost of production (cheaper lenses) 3 - a two months supply isn't much bigger than a couple of CD's so it fits through my letter box instead of having to go to the post office to collect it because I wasn't in!
The lenses themselves (i actually bought the daysoft 58 not 72) Upon visual inspection there is an easy way to tell from the shape of the lens edge whether it is the correct way round, the last lenses i used seemed to be almost the same either way, the only way to tell was to put them in and see if i could see! this was a nice suprise. The lenses seem to be made of a softer more rubber-like material than the other lenses i have tried which may make them more susceptible to damage but will also make them more comfortable for long wear. The inclusion of a UV filter in the lenses is a nice touch as UV is a concern in this day and age.
