***How to Use***
After washing your hands peel back the cup and remove the lens with the tip of your finger. Examine the lens to make sure it is clean, there are no tears and that it has not turned inside out (the edges should not turn outward).
I've been short sighted since I was a kid and have worn glasses since primary school. It's never really bothered me as you can get some great style glasses now days, but when I go out of an evening or an occasion I want to look my best I always opt for contact lenses. I get the daily disposable ones as they are great value for money if you only want to wear them occasionally. They are also very comfortable and less hassle as there's no cleaning is involved, you just throw them away after each use.

***The Product*** These lenses claim to be the best value daily lenses on the market, providing crisp and clear vision with healthier, happier?!! and more comfortable eyes. They have a 72% water content.
***Price and Availability*** I'm not sure if you can actually buy these at your local opticians but there are many websites on the internet that sell them. I bought mine from www.contactlenses.co.uk. This is the cheapest website I have found for all contact lenses. You can buy a box of 32 lenses for £12 but there are multisave options, so if you buy your lenses in bulks of 6 months or more you can get them for £9 a box.
They are available with a radius/diameter of 8.6/14.2 and power (strength) of +8.00 all the way through to -12.50. Now I'm quite short sighted. Without glasses I can't see 2 ft in front of me and the strength I use is -5.50. So that's quite a broad range they cater for.
***Packaging*** They come in a small box, a little bit smaller than a cd case. Inside the box the contact lenses are contained in individual plastic half cups sealed on a sheet of metal foil. The foil can be split into strips which contain 4 lenses. To open you hold the foil and peel back the little cup. This is easy to do and the lens is easy to get out, using the tip of your finger. However, it's a little harder to remove the cup fully (maybe they use too much glue?) and I ended up flicking the solution everywhere. The packaging of all the other lenses I have used comes the other way round, with a bigger plastic cup and a small amount of foil over the top, so that each cup can be thrown away after use. This is much easier to use but Daysoft UV say they pack their lenses the way they do because it's more environmentally friendly as it uses less plastic than others.
***How to Use*** After washing your hands peel back the cup and remove the lens with the tip of your finger. Examine the lens to make sure it is clean, there are no tears and that it has not turned inside out (the edges should not turn outward).
Put the lens on the tip of your forefinger and use your middle finger to pull down the lower lid. Use your other hand to pull up the upper lid and gentle place the lens on your eye. Let go of your eyelids and blink a few times. The lens will centre naturally and should be completely comfortable. If it isn't, remove the lens and check that it is clean and has no tears. If it is ok rinse with solution and try again.
To remove the lens place one finger on the centre of the upper lid and one on the centre of the lower lid. Pinch together to force a blink and the lens will fall out. There are other methods of putting in and taking out lenses but these are the ones I find easiest. Your optician should show you a couple of methods so that you can choose which is easiest for you.
***My Experience*** The fist time I used these lenses I noticed the difference from my usual ones. After putting in the lenses they didn't quite sit right. I thought it was just me and took them out, cleaned them and put them back in. But they were the same. I put it down to them maybe being a slightly different radius to what I'm used to and continued to use them. After all they weren't uncomfortable, they just felt different.
After about 5 hours of wearing the lenses my eyes started to dry out a bit. This is quite normal if you wear them for long periods of time but 5 hours isn't that long. Most of the time I was only wearing them for a night out so it didn't bother me too much. What did bother me was the quality of the lenses. I found that they tore really easily or they were already torn when I opened the pack. Out of a box of 32 atleast 5 of them were already torn when I opened the pack. One was even just half a lens! I was so annoyed because even the slightest nick makes them unusable. They may have been cheaper than other lenses but what a waste.
***Recommendation*** Would I recommend the lenses? NO! I may have just got a bad box but I found the quality extremely poor, they dried my eyes out and the packaging is too fiddly. The only good thing about them was the price but I certainly won't be buying them again.
Advantages: Price Disadvantages: Packaging a little hard to open at first
...couldn't afford this! I found Daysoft after searching on the internet and although I was a little unsure at first at this price (£4.99 for 32 lenses!) I figured I couldn't go wrong so I gave them a try...this was 2 years ago now and I have never looked back!
The lenses are super comfortable even if you wear them for long periods of time, I also must confess I've slept in them a couple of times and although slightly uncomfortable in the morning after ... ...in. The packing is small and neat and great for traveling as you can take as few or as many lenses as you like (you can just rip up the foil) and you have no need for solution etc. like you need with monthly lenses.
Only negative I would say is that if you don't handle with care sometimes he lenses break but for this price you can't complain really, also it takes a little getting used to getting the lenses out but this is fine with a bit of practice.

Quick review of Daysoft UV 72
I have been using Daysoft lenese for many years. They are so much cheaper than other lenses and the service they offer is superb. I have only very occasional had a lense that had turned inside out whereas when i used 1-day acuevue they were quite often turned inside out. The packaging is easy to open if you are not clumsy and the lenses are always in good condition. They always give me excellent eye sight and I can wear them without problems all day (could be 16 hours). I thoroughly recommend them. ...

...themselves (i actually bought the daysoft 58 not 72)
Upon visual inspection there is an easy way to tell from the shape of the lens edge whether it is the correct way round, the last lenses i used seemed to be almost the same either way, the only way to tell was to put them in and see if i could see! this was a nice suprise. The lenses seem to be made of a softer more rubber-like material than the other lenses i have tried which may make them more ...
