Advantages: USB, Quick & Easy Video Editing & Conversion, Good Software Included Disadvantages: None
The DazzleVideoCreatorDVC 130 is a cool piece of kit which basically records your videos from a camcorder, VCR or any other video equipment with analogue outputs. That's the reason I bought this and its easy to use.
When recording videos from your camcorder it uses hardware encoding for high quality MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 files without using your computer's CPU. This enables encoding to be simple and quick. You can either transfer videos straight from tape to DVD or use Studio QuickStart which is the software included, to trim and enhance movies before burning them to DVD or uploading them onto the internet.
The actual unit is small about hand size and can be placed easily by the side of your PC if you use it regularly. Otherwise its easy to disconnect and connect back again as its Plug and play and connected via USB.

I have only recently purchased this and have been trying various different items to get has video onto a win vista system and have finally found one.
The dazzle 90 convert?s analogue signals sent by analogue TV vhs, 8mm etc into digital signals that your computer can use. This comes with male to male connections but a scart adaptor can be bought extra for only a few pounds from your local electronics shop.
This comes bundled with pinnacle nine which works on all win xp systems. However to work on vista you need to install the updates which are available from pinnacle and to upgrade to video studio 10 as minimum.
This item is basically plug and play plug into your video connect the leads to your dazzle and the plug the output lead into your USB slot. It should be easily recognized.
Remember install your software first ...
Advantages: Works, lifetime waranty, easy to use(its just plug and play) Disadvantages: Nothing special about it, equivalent prducts can be found everywhere
What can I say about it except it does the job and does it well. Its fast (as the name suggests) and is compatible with the industry standards (up to 720x480pixels and 30fps) I hear you cry what makes this better than any other analogue video to pc cable and the answer is not very much. You plug it, in use the included compatible software and copy your source to pc. It works with just about any standard analogue source. Its a pretty standard piece of kit with nothing amazing to really pull it out the slosh of the general market, its as good as any and has a lifetime waranty but I'm sure you can find the equivalent of this product for less. I only recomend it for the life time waranty, not that much can go wrong on a cable and a bit of software. ...
