about the Mitre box and saw
---------------------------------
As I said before it comes part assembled so you need to assemble it fully, this is not such a bad thing as it gets you familiar with the different parts.
Your main part to this tool is the saw which slides up and down four rods to prevent it from tilting side to side so that you can get a accurate angled cut.
Placed on the rods are two depth stops so that you can choose as to what depth of cut you want to make.
The rods are attached to the arm that rotates and locks in place of the different pre-set angles and this is attached to the base plate. The arm can rotate to the appropriate angle you require, there is a choice of 90, 45, 54, 60, 67.5 and 70 degrees. Everyone knows that there is nothing worse than trying to do DIY with cheap tools, as the finish is usually poor. Not the case with this saw. Although it is at the cheaper end of the mitresaw market, its build quality and ease of use are excellent.
To bore you with statistics, it has :
1.7kw motor, which spins at 5,000 rpm with no load.
10 inch blade
Side bars
Clamp

I have used mine for making picture frames, book-ends, etc., and am in the process of making a workbench. It is proving to be invaluable.
The blade can be set to cut on an angle up to 45 degrees off vertical and 45 degrees in one direction and 60 ...
Advantages: Excellent story, Great acting, funny. Disadvantages: None

After catching up and having a rant about the most common crap things in life we wanted something good to watch. Sliding Doors has been out for over ten years and we have watched it about twenty times but it is still really good, and one of those films you can watch however many times. We do actually own the film on VHS somewhere which shows how old it is. I remember first watching it on TV though a few years ago. There are some recognisable actors involved and I quite like Gwyneth Paltrow. I think she is a very good actress and even though she does not appear in big blockbusters, all her films are soft and well performed. So after discovering this was on I was pleased of the choice as it is ...
