A refreshing bath and shower gel from Dead Sea Magik. Contains the unique combination of pure minerals, which are only to be found in the springs of the Dead Sea.
Advantages: Good for problem skin, leaves your face feeling clean Disadvantages: Packaging could be better, can be a bit harsh
Have a look around your average beauty salon or the skincare counters in department stores and if you're like me you will probably find the prices a bit scary. This isn't the case with DeadSeaMagik.
I've had "problem" skin for about fourteen years, and by the time I was twelve I'd gone through the off-the-shelf acne skincare products and ended up on prescription treatments that were peroxide based and took the colour out of my bedding! But somewhere around then a friend suggested DeadSeaMagik, I tried it and it worked pretty well. I've been using it on and off ever since.
The advantages for me are (or have been) that it doesn't make my skin flare up, it is reasonably inexpensive (I do a lot of window shopping before I buy and I think it is amazing that everyday cream cleansers can be £5 or £6 but as soon as the magic word ...
Advantages: Good exfoliator, quite a nice scent Disadvantages: Messy to apply
This is an adequate body exfoliator - note that I don't call it a scrub - but whoever designed it clearly meant for you to lie back as somebody else applies it. (Which is fine if you've got somebody to do that, but not great if you're on your own in the bath.) I actually bought it as part of a box set with other DeadSeaMagik products because I'd got a promotional voucher as a result of sending the feedback slip from a tube of facial exfoliator back to Finders International and thought I might as well get as much as I could with it.
Other scrubs are like a gel or cream or jelly with granules suspended in it - don't expect that from this product because you won't get it. If you're the kind of person who likes a foamy, bubbly body exfoliator, I would skip this and move onto something else. That's not to say it's a bad exfoliator - it ...
Advantages: Smells *wonderful*, nice to use Disadvantages: An expensive shower gel!
I really like the Ghost Bath and ShowerGel. I got given this as a present, because when it comes to showergel I usually buy the reasonably cheap stuff so it is quite nice to have an expensive one to try and use! I had the Ghost perfume so it was lovely to get the bath and showergel to match it.
The smell of this is absolutely lovely. It is not a heavy smell but quite light with the smells of jasmine, hibiscus, rose petals, spicy sandalwood, vanilla, musk, frankincense, apricots and ambergris (sounds like lots and lots of different smells but they really go well together!)
The size of the tube is 200ml. I haven't actually seen this product in the 200ml size that I have in any shops. I have seen it in a gift set with the perfume and body lotion but that is in a smaller size of 50ml and it is not sold individually. I couldn't find ...
