=How to play==
Well, for the whole game it sees you doing what people do on the actual television show. Deal or No Deal is not about skill. But luck. Of course, you have to chose different numbered boxes at random and when you chose your box, a person will open that box and that box will contain a certain amount of money. Say if that box contained £1, you will LOSE £1. If it had the jackpot £250,000 inside - you will LOSE that $250,000. As I said, it's just luck. Then there is the Banker. Every so often the banker will call you on a red phone and gives you an offer - like. £15,000. And will ask you a question. Deal or No Deal? You chose if you want it or not and say your answer. The offer will vary on how much money you have available on the screen. You WIN the jackpot £250,000 if it is the only offer standing last in the game. Simple? Yes.
Gameplay
As said, the game is simple. And not really worth buying. So you would expect some good graphics? I would. If you were a game designer and you had tons of space left to fill in that cartridge you would probably make the graphics a little worth it. Well, what Deal or No Deal has done is that they have saved at least half of that space and the whole game is actually a 3D cartoon with speech bubbles. I know, it might be just me but I am thinking that it makes it a little less great. But in my opinion the touch screen controls are far from poor, they operate the whole game. You touch a box to open it, touch for the menu, touch for a Deal, touching is the whole game and you use no button controls really...
Summery
I know that this review was short but there really is no point in even playing this game. The gameplay is poor, it is very simple and it really isn't fun or worth buying. The only good point is that you might think that you are carrying your own little TV Show in your pocket which you can play freely any time you like. The only advantage is that Deal or No Deal might be a nice, little game to pass the time. But the disadvantage is everything else. Pointless, you don't actually win real money of course. And think about it, paying £30 for this game is not worth it. But apart from the bad graphics, there is sound in the game. A voice-over and that is it. So... I will ask you the question...
Advantages: Sound Effects from the real shows Disadvantages: boring, no skill involved
Deal or No Deal Unfortunately I was not impressed with this game, perhaps because there is no skill really needed to play a game where you open boxes to win money. I think the only reason why this show works is because you can win decent sums of money, now ofcourse in the game you cannot win money. So what are you playing for?
This game is completed in a matter of 5 minutes if that, I think the excitement of gambling with the banker looses its appeal ... ...loosing or winning anything. This is why I feel this game does not work.
It's definately not worth the money and even if you are a deal or no deal fan I think you will be dissapointed if you were to go out and buy this game. ...

Advantages: Memory stores best scores Disadvantages: Repetitive, a bit boring, random in places
...impression that you\'ve chosen no deal until you get to the end. You then have several more rounds of selecting 3 boxes at a time followed by a call from the banker. Randomly, sometimes a mini-game "three box trick" pops up where you have to remember which box a mug is hidden under, but it's really easy & just a bit strange, supposedly upping the amount offered by the banker.
In banker mode, a phantom contestant does the choosing of boxes and instead ... ...both the three box trick and forfeit mode seem out of place and random. There also isn't enough of a challenge to keep you playing all night, let alone a few weeks. i bored of it very quickly.
For die hard deal or no deal fans only. ...

Advantages: Adequate translation from the TV show. Good game to fill in a few minutes though. Disadvantages: Just too repetitive, not enough gameplay
Deal or NoDeal : The Banker is Back is a game for the NintendoDS. The game is based on the Channel 4 game show presented by Noel Edmonds and he appears on the front of the game's packaging.
The main part of the game is playing Deal or NoDeal in the traditional way, where you have to decide whether to accept an offer of money for your box at certain points throughout the game, or carry on in the hope of winning more virtual money.
You can also opt to play the game as the banker, so you have to make offers to the contestant. This is interesting to play a couple of times given the novelty factor, but I found even this additional mode did little to increase the longevity of the game for me. Without the human interest generated by the real television show, the game becomes almost a very dull maths game.
In terms of the graphics ...
Advantages: just like the gameshow Disadvantages: boring
I did not buy this game I borrowed my cousins and I must say that I was glad that I did not purchase the game.
This game is just like the game show which after a while I think gets pretty boring as it drives me crazy when watching on the telly as I think some people get greedy and that leaves me shouting at the TV, on the occasions that I have watched it.
The graphics on the NintendoDS are good, they are not the best that I have seen but as they are only a game show so I do not think that this needs to have outstanding graphics to play this style of game.
The game starts with a video introduction with sound, and then there are 22 numbered boxes with cash amounts in them. You pick one of the boxes then the remaining go on two wings the east and west. You then pick the boxes one by one that you want to open to show a cash amount ...
Advantages: Can be entertaining if played only once a month Disadvantages: Becomes easy to remember where the money is
I got this game when I got golden balls (I have also rated this game) as it came in a two pack. Again this wasn't a very satisfying game show to Ds game combination.
When you first turn on this game your asked to type in a user name so you can save any data. Once this is completed you can play the game either in one player mode or multi player (single card play) The game is set out just like the Tv show where there are 22 red boxes and you eliminate the boxes without trying to lose the big money. One thing which isn't the same as the Tv show is you get to pick what number box you would like.
On one player mode you have the option of being the contestant or the banker.
There is also a bankers bonus option where you play as the contestant then when the banker makes an offer and you touch nodeal you get the option ...

Manufacturer's product description
The eagerly awaited Deal or No Deal NDS game puts you on the same walk of wealth as contestants on Endemol's award-wining game show broadcast on Channel 4 only this time it's virtual. Maybe the game looks easy from the comfort of your armchair? Here's your chance to prove you've got what it takes! The basis of the game is the same as in the TV Show: the player is presented with 22 boxes and must select one box to keep for himself that they will only open at the end of the game. Each box contains an amount of money ranging from 0.01p to '250 000 but no one knows for sure which one contains what prize. The player must open each of the boxes in any order per round. After a certain amount are opened 'the banker' will make a monetary offer for the player's own still unopened box. The player can choose to accept the offer for the box and "Deal" or choose "No Deal" to continue to play in the hope of a better offer later or more valuable prize when they open their own box.
