When I first spotted this book, it was on a shelf in Borders with the new releases, and it looked somewhat out-of-place. Why? Well (and this is referring to the trade paperback edition of it, which doesn't have the same cover as the product picture here shows), it looks like a magazine on the outside, complete with the little headings you get on normal magazine covers about the contents contained within - quizzes, articles on love and how to find the perfect man, and so on and so forth. Only the fact that a little sentence reads "A Novel by Deanna Kizis" along the top of the cover, lets you in on the fact that this is NOT a magazine or, for that matter... Read review

...I am I will admit, a star trek fan. I do read star trek books and have seen a lot of the programs and films. When down in my local library I decided to get out a star trek book called "Star Trek : Imzadi." It is the love story between Deanna Troi and Will Riker before they are on the enterprise. It tells the story of how they met on Betazed and fell in love. It was a fantastic novel and is over 300 pagesin length. I read it in two days and couldn't put it down. I would recemmend this book to anybody even though they are not a star trek fan. It is simply a love story based in the surroundings of star trek. There are many things I picked up from the book such as when Will asks Deanna if she believes in love at first sight and she replies no. I believe in lust at first sight that may then lead on to love. I also believe this way... Read review

...Star Trek. All Good Things...., Author - Michael Jan Friedman. Introduction - ~~~~~~~~ The book starts cleverly enough with 'Q' watching a couple walking along a beach, whilst he plots new torments for Captain Picard. A few pages later it is revealed that the couple are in fact Deanna and Worf and that they are in a holosuite. Q is already aboard the Enterprise! Synopsis - ~~~~~~ Seven years ago Q allowed humans to exist but told Picard at the time 'he would be watching'. Now the captain finds himself flitting through different time zones in his life. He is unaware, at first, that Q is showing him what a waste his life has been and what a waste his future will also be.
