The Piano Teacher
The Piano Teacher is a subtitled film of the Phycological Drama genre. Released in 2001 it is also known by it's French name La pianiste. Directed by Michael Haneke, it is based on the novel by Die Klavierspielerin which won a Nobel Prize for Literature in 2004.
Graphic in it's content this film delves into the darker side of sex, including fetishism, bondage, and sado/masochism. It also touches
on the delicate subject of genitalia self harm. This is not a light film, and is not recommended for family viewing. ~

From an early age, my friends and I were addicted to collecting TY beanies. For those of you who do not know for some strange reason, TY Beanies are a collection of little teddies in all forms, from animals and teddy bears. Once you start a collection they are quite addictive. They draw you in instantly and after that you cannot go back!

Though to look at the bear is nothing of the sort! Dear is a gorgeous pink shade, one of the most soft pastel baby pink colours I've seen on a TY. In her hands there is a little bouquet, pretty pink colours with a litte pink ribbon. Around her neck to match, there is a gorgeous pale pink ribbon tied in a pretty bow. Dear looks very cute ...
Advantages: Great classroom experiences, feeling prepared to teach, enjoyable Disadvantages: expensive, exhausting, hard work, time consuming
decided that teacher training was the way to go. I applied to Brighton University and Chichester but Chichester cancelled the course so my only hope was to get the grades needed for Brighton - I did and I succeeded at interview so I was to spend the next four years training and Brighton.
My Course
My teacher training course is one with a bit of a difference. It is official name is "BA (hons) Upper Primary/Lower Secondary Education with QTS specialising in Information Communication Technology". It's a bit of a mouthful and is called the UP/LS course for short. It basically means that by the end of my training I will be able to teach in both primary and secondary schools but will specifically be trained to teach the transition stage (children aged 8 to 14). It means that in primary schools I will be able to teach every subject but ...

It's 1979: Dallas is enthralling the nation on TV, Mrs Thatcher has just become prime minister, Abba is top of the pops, and in the small Yorkshire village of Ragley-on-the-Forest, Jack Sheffield returns for his third year as headmaster of the village school. Jack and his staff struggle to keep a semblance of normality throughout the turbulence of the school terms, as once again the official School Log fails to record what is really going on beneath the seemingly quiet routine. Ruby the caretaker discovers her Prince Charming; Vera the school secretary gets to meet her hero, Nicholas Parsons; and Jack, to his astonishment, finds himself having to stand in as a curiously skinny Father Christmas. Jack also finds himself, at last, having to choose between the vivacious sisters Beth and Laura Henderson...
