Advantages: A character so different from what you would expect, loads of laughs and witty comebacks, excellent stroylines. Disadvantages: None, as far as I can see.

Advantages: funny, surprising, memorable Disadvantages: not enough of them
...to the strange, quirky personality Death has (loves cats, tries anything once), these stories amuse, entertain, and frequently surprise a reader. You follow Death through his daily 'life' and watch all the trouble he gets into as he takes an assistant or a holiday or tries to do any one of the many things us mortals take for granted. Must be a gland thing. The stories are accessable to readers of all ages, but adults would definitely find them more ...

Advantages: Death's Wit Disadvantages: It's hardback, heavier than paperback.
Death has always been my favourite character, and so when I saw that there was a Death Trilogy out I had to have it. Death it most definitely Pratchett's wittiest character and in Mort he is even better, learning the effects of alcohol, note Death has no feelings usually but decides to find out about "fun" when he hires an apprentice, Mort to take over, unfortunately all goes wrong when Mort falls in love with one of Death's "clients". In Reaper ... ...on a farm, leaving all of those meant to die, in a sort of in between stage, not living but then again not dead. Soul Music is a great book about Death's granddaughter, Susan and a new kind of music that has hit the Discworld, called "Music with Rocks In", which gets a little out of hand! ...
