Advantages: Used up a couple of hours on an otherwise dull Sunday Disadvantages: Nothing challenging about it
I've played a few of AgathaChristie's puzzle games, one of which involved Hercule Poirot and I really enjoyed them.
This one however I found dreadfully poor and I'm not really sure what the creators were thinking of when they dreamt it up.

My Thoughts
With all the other puzzle games I've played there's also been a bit of video play to go with them. That's probably not the right technical term, but I mean that Poirot for example would wander around looking for clues ...
Advantages: Wonderful cast, great to look at Disadvantages: None that I can think of!
BACKGROUND
AgathaChristie is the most popular crime writer in history, her books selling more than two billion copies worldwide- she is undoubtedly the 'queen of crime.' It has been estimated that she has been outsold only by the Bible and William Shakespeare. Written in 1937, 'Death on the Nile' is as popular today as it has ever been. Set in Egypt primarily, Christie took much of her African inspiration from her interest in archaeology, as she travelled with her husband, the eminent archaeologist Max Mallowan on many field trips. It is this actual knowledge of the Egyptian area that makes the book so readable, and easy to translate onto the big screen.
I was always a fan of AgathaChristie novels, having read 'Death on the Nile' when I was around eleven. I was immediately interested when I saw a copy of the 1978 classic ...
Advantages: Rich, sumptuous setting Disadvantages: Some characters a little over the top
characters are way too over the top though.
This is just one of the many adaptations of AgathaChristie's Poirot starring David Suchet. Thank goodness it is not the last. David Suchet will be a hard actor to replace. Highly recommended.
I have seen the film version of this adaptation, but the DVD is available from Amazon for £12.99 . The DVD is also available as part of a collection of Poirot adaptations starring David Suchet, published by AgathaChristie Limited (A Chorion Company). Death on the Nile is the first adaptation available and is available for an introductory price of just ₤2.99 from most newsagents for a DVD and a magazine with information about the film, actors and AgathaChristie herself. I haven't seen the magazine, but the DVD alone has to worth that price! ...
