Advantages: amazingly emotive for someone who has never been in love Disadvantages: none
...What strikes me as most formidable about Emily Bronte is that she had never actually experienced a relationship before. And yet her use of the emotions are effectively forceful and acccurate. It never fails to fascinate me that she conveys all the symptoms of love and hate through the various generations relevant in the novel, effectively with so much force, energy and strength. I cannot recall her exact age when she wrote Wuthering Heights but she was barely 20 or not even close to 19 if I vaguely recall(correctly that is). If for anything else, it should be appreciated on the pure grounds of her being a genius.
Set in Yorkshire, the moors have an intense effect of pathetic fallacy throughout the novel. It is romantic and yet at times sends chills down my spine as Bronte narrates the ghost-like and phantom qualities of the late...
