The Debenhams in Aberdeen is located in the Trinity Centre on Union Street, Aberdeen. It has it's own car park and is easily accessed by bus as there are various routes all around it. Its entrance is large and open, with no real doors so entering is simple. Once you get yourself in the store, the magic can begin.
Our Debenhams has three floors, each one a large size. On the ground floor there is all the make up ... ...come to the adults clothes. Debenhams do have their own range of clothes, but mostly their floors are filled with top designers. These include Jane Norman, Baker by Ted Baker and a Topshop too! There are some amazing clothes and accessories available, and I quite like the Jane Norman bags especially, all black with coloured patterns (mine has pink flowers and sequins decorated on!). Our Debenhams has three floors, each one a large size. On the ground floor there is all the make up and perfume etc. There are a lot of designers here, including Ruby and Millie, Bourjois and Rimmel for make-up, and endless amounts of perfume, such as Ralph Lauren, Kylie Minogue and DK:NY. Everything is laid out nicely too in cabinets and on shelves, so it is easy to find! There are plenty of testers around so you can try the perfumes. Also, you can get your make up done at some of the counters and try out those products too - this is always nice!
On the first floor, once you go up the escalators, you come to the adults clothes. The clothes come in all sorts of sizes, each nicely arranged in order. There is a lot of 'corridor' space in between the sections, but the clothes racks themselves are quite close together so if you had a buggy or anything it would be a bit of a squeeze to get through.
Onto the next floor you come to the kids section, These include designers such as Julien MacDonald, Pineapple and John Rocha. This goes from babies right up to age 16, and offers a variety of styles, including casual and school uniform, as well as party wear (they do the most amazing sparkly dresses!). On this floor you will also find underwear of all sorts, and a very well set out Wedding section which provides you with dresses and suits. There is also a selection of household accessories, such as cushions, vases and even televisions. All three floors are well laid out with large banners overhead signposting the sections, so finding things is simple! And it is easy to hunt out a member of staff if in need; they all wear the black and white debenhams shirts! I also find the staff to be very friendly too, most knowledgeable and useful.
Now it is all well that things are nicely laid out, but the shop is quite expensive usually! For example, you can buy a singe t-shirt for over £30, which is definitely a lot more than Primark's £1.50 option! But with the majority of the designers you are indeed getting top quality goods, so your money is well spend! Debenhams also do amazing sales at Christmas too, which is always something to smile about!
Debenhams has stock to suit everybody, of any age with any preference. Their products are amazing and the store is neat. With hundreds of stores across the Uk there is bound to be one near you! It is definitely worth a visit to your nearest, even if you are not buying anything! Shopping has never been so much fun until now!
Advantages: Ridiculously low sale prices, proportioned clothes for tall girls Disadvantages: Sell out of popular items quickly
if they haven't been in stock in store, and calling around other stores to see if they have what I'm looking for.
