You will be greeted with a page showing you the offers of the day and links to each department, or should you choose the simpler way of finding your way around just use the search engine at the top of the page to help you find what you want.

Each item has its own link with a clear, sharp picture, options to choose size, colour, quantity and an extra bonus; you can choose whether the item is for yourself or a gift, which means that you can split your order up as part gifts and part for yourself.

Your departments are divided up as follows:
Womens: fashion, casual, formal, footwear, accessories, sports, tall, petit, etc…
Mens: casual, formal, footwear, nightwear, sports, designer, etc…
Kids: boys, girls, babies, early learning.
Homeware: bathroom, bedroom, electrical, leisure, outdoor, etc…
Health and Beauty: fragrance, self tan, make up, bath and body etc….

Debenham’s offers of the UK’s best wedding services both in store and online, and you can purchase online from someone’s list and couples planning a wedding can order stationary and select items for their list of presents.

And if you can’t find want you want from all the departments, you can order a gift voucher online to be delivered to whoever you choose.

Well with some items you should feel privileged as they will be exclusive to home shopping and are not available from any stores, so even if you do shop in store regularly you should still give this a try especially if the store doesn’t have want you are looking for.

*****How Easy is it to Use?*****
Once you register all your details are saved onto your online account for your convenience for each time you shop.

The search engine is a big help. Your results appear 10 items per page with a description, brand name and price with each item and a display with the number of items for each department found.

*****Convenience?*****
If you don’t fancy looking through all the pictures online, the website allows you to fill in a form to request a catalogue and when you know what you want you can simply type in the catalogue reference number and order and proceed straight to checkout.

The checkout allows you to review your order and make changes like most other sites, and the secure website means that everything is safe.

The site gives you information on stores in addition to information on Debenham’s as a company. If you have an account card you can also manage and obtain information on it here, if you don’t you can find information on it and apply for it.

You can choose to deliver to any address at a cost of £3.50 (£1 for gift vouchers under £30), or if you live near a store you can choose to have your order delivered there for free. Most items are aimed to be delivered within four to five working days, flowers next day or selected date, vouchers within two working days. Certain exceptions do apply.

The site is definitely worth a look, prices are no different to high street stores and the range is good. Debenham’s have definitely thought of ways to make home shopping more convenient. And don’t forget you can also earn your Nectar Points online which can be spent in a range of outlets such as Sainsbury’s and Argos (2pts per £1, 500 pts approx £2.50 in value).
