Decleor's Alguaromes toning shower & bath gel made with Essential Oils & Plant Extracts comes in a clear plastic pear shaped bottle with a white lid. It can be rather difficult to read the writing on the sides at times because of the piercing tropical ocean blue colour of the gel which shows through. On the front is the Decleor logo along with the product name in both English & French.On the reverse is the directions for use & a list of ingredients.

This product is available in two sizes : 200ml (approx £15) & 400ml (approx £20)I find it is more economical to buy the 400ml as this will normally last me approx 2-3 months.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the 400ml bottle on offer for just £15.75 at my local salon (beauty business in hove) this week.So if you need to stock up this may be the ideal time to do so although I must point out this offer may not be available in stockists nationwide.

On opening the bottle you can smell a pleasant aroma of lavender mixed with a number of other subtle tones of Lemon & Rosemary. This aroma increases as the gel is added to a running bath or into your hands with a little water.

The electric blue gel is thick enough to pour into your hands with out running straight off. On a daily basis I generally apply the gel with a pair of wet exfoliating gloves all over my body using circular motions before rinsing in the shower.Or on days when I have more time I like to create my very own little spa by adding a little of the gel to my running bath & then enjoy relaxing in it whilst inhaling the gorgeous aroma as it fills my entire bathroom.

The gel has a subtle lather & rinses without any real effort, leaving no unpleasant residue.Since a child my skin has been easily irritated by many washing powders, soaps & shampoos but with this gel I have yet to so much as feel a tinge out of place. It has always left my skin clean,smooth & refreshed.

It has now been over a year since I started using this product on such a regular basis & I can clearly see it has helped to tone the skin around my legs, hips, stomach & arms which is pretty dam good.
