As many women of colour already known, brown skin has a greater degree of natural pigment, known as melanin. This pigment gives a higher degree of protection from the sun, gives a rich, deep colour and allows women to keep the youthful texture of their skin for a longer time. But the production of melanin can also have its drawbacks, and one major problem for Asian and African women is uneven skin tone due to the over-production of melanin, especially after the skin faces any type of trauma, however small. Some of the reviews have said that its too thick but I haven't found this - as you need to rub the cream on your hand until its gone clear before applying. The scent is inoffensive & very light - I've used creams like decleor before which has a strong scent but personally I don't like that & I don't feel like something with a heavy scent can be good for your skin.
If you are looking to get this crème I would suggest going on the crème de la mer website & finding a place which stocks it near you & asking for a sample to use. A sample size should last for at least a week & it'll give you an idea what it can do for your skin as it is a lot of money to pay for a face cream.
Failing that then buy a sample on ebay - although not ideal - you'll get a sample for less than £5 and spending that is better than ...

The directions on the tube are to use daily to the affected parts of the body. Basically you are meant to rub it in to your 'problem areas' and it will firm your stretch marks.
I have been using this for a couple of months. Once you apply it to your skin and it absorbs, your skin does feel instantly firmer, but it isn't a lasting effect, it doesn't stay feeling firm, the firm sensation wears off quite quickly. I think this is quite good for its moisturising capabilities, but as for the firming part - I don't think it really works.
