Thank you very much for all the reads and rates and comments and things! :) Also started to write on Dooyoo under the name of 'Beanie85'. Trying to write different reviews for each site, though I might have a couple on both sites!

I sometimes get quite dry skin. I saw this 'Angelique Night Balm' on the Decleor website which is for dry/very dry skin and thought I would give it a go. I have tried quite a lot of Decleor products before and have loved them, so I thought it might be the same with this.
The jar comes in two different sizes which are both available from the 'Decleor' website. The sizes are 15ml which costs £28, and 30ml which costs £48. There are quite a lot of online shops that sell Decleor products though, so it is likely that you will be able to find them for cheaper.
The jar bottom part of the jar is made of frosted glass, and the screw top lid is made of plastic. Once you open the lid, there is a white plastic cover to protect the balm, which easily lifts on and off.
The balm itself is yellow in colour and is like a really solid, hard butter (and it really looks like butter too!)
The smell of it is quite strong. You can smell it as soon as you open the lid. It has rosemary, geranium, camomile and angelica plant oils in it. So lots of different smells! It also has avocado, borage and red palm waxes in it. It smells quite nice, in an aromatherapy kind of way!
The night balm is specifically for your face. The directions on the back of the jar are to "warm a little of the balm in your cupped hand, then apply in light sweeping strokes". I have actually found it quite hard to apply this. It is quite like a tub of hard lip balm, so you can only really wiggle your finger around on it until it melts slightly and then try to apply it to your face. This means that you can only get a tiny bit of it on at a time.. it is quite a laborious task!
It was soft on my skin once applied and it didn't irritate my skin or make it sore, but I couldn't really get that much on my face since it is quite tricky to do.
It is meant to be for dry to very dry skin. I quite like this, but it is not like a moisturiser. You would have to use a lot over your face to eliminate dry skin or moisturise, so I think that this night balm is more like a relaxing aromatherapy balm. My Mum always used to put different oils next to my bed to try to help my sleep when I was little, so I kind of think of this balm to be a bit like that, something you put lightly on your face to help you sleep and relax. As for it helping dry skin, I really didn't find that.
The balm is that it is 100% natural and has no preservatives, so that earns some extra points in my book, but not enough for me to recommend this product!
All in all I feel disappointed in this product. It is quite nice as a relaxing smell to help you fall asleep, but for the price I paid, I expected it to work. I found it hard to apply and it did nothing for my skin.
