In this case, just three drops is all ... ...free if you have a Decleor outlet near you ( I dont ) and I really would recommend trying it out this way before paying full price.
After using it every night for the first week, I now use it just two or three times a week as "maintenence", this of course makes it more economical so maybe the price isnt that bad after all :)

Decleor recommend using this product twice a day after cleansing and toning-and before moisterising. Now I have (had) really greasy skin and have only used this at night and have still seen results.I only use it at night because although it smells heavenly, it is (for me) a very powerful smell and I can get headachy from smells.
After cleansing (I use Liz Earles cleanse and polish) I put a drop on three fingers of one hand (much the same method as if you were putting scent on), rub them gently with the fingers of my other hand to warm it up and apply to my face. Application is quick and easy -I just press my fingers against my skin in the T -zone and then use gentle outward strokes to blend it in. Its quickly absorbed and not once have I been left with "oil" stains on my bedding. You can top off with moisturiser of even Decleors ylang ylang night balm if you need to and I do now and then if I find the rest of my face is feeling dry.
I have to say my skin has improved considerably since adding this to my skin care regime. I now wake in the morning without a layer of grease sitting on my face and now I usually can get away with just using water to cleanse in the morings. Less oil production has meant less breakouts and there really has been some improvement in the state of my pores. Although I find the smell to be a bit overpowering, thats the only thing that is. This is so gentle on the skin I have had no irritaion from it at all (and I have pretty sensitive skin)
Now the bad news. This isnt cheap :( Its sold on QVC at £35 for 15mls and around £30 everywhere. It can be bought cheaper on ebay of course and this is where I get mine. I have never bought a full sized bottle, on ebay I pick up the small 2.5mls "testers" for a couple of pounds and they will last near on a month using once a day. You can of course get a sample free if you have a Decleor outlet near you ( I dont ) and I really would recommend trying it out this way before paying full price.

...of cleanse tone and moisturise, Decleor adds a fourth step to their skincare programmes, before moisturising you add the teeniest bit of an aromatherapy oil to provide intensive benefits. Now it can seem a little strange to put an oil on a greasy skin, but 'oil' is perhaps a misleading term here. These are blends of concentrated aromatherapy oils, there are four different ones, and the ylang ylang (it contains many other ingredients besides that ... ...oily and problem skin. It's not cheap but you can usually get a sample from the salons that sell it to try it out before you commit to a purchase. The full size looks tiny (it's also a very elegant bottle), but should last about six months; you do only need literally one drop. ...

Easy-absorbing facial oil designed to be used under Decléor facial balms and creams, as well as providing a direct aromatherapy treatment to the face, it also assists the absorption of those creams and/or lotions applied on top. Decléor offer a range of oils used depending upon skin type, and Ylang Ylang (purifying concentrate) is aimed at those with oily/combination skin.
Although it seems counter-intuitive to add an oil to oily/combination skin, ... ...help rebalance the skin. After having used this for 2-3 years, I have reached a point where the balance of my skin is much, much better overall. Now, I use this particular oil less frequently and have moved across to another oil that is more suited to normal/balanced skin. I bring this back out of the cupboard for the weeks when I'm stressed at work and my face is knocked out of whack.
The smell of the aromessences are gorgeous (unsurprisingly), ...

Departement stores can be dangerous places. The amount of times I have gone to the West End and forked out hundreds of pounds on skincare, only to find when I get it home that it is complete rubbish, is unreal. Thus I had that reluctant 'do I really need this?' feeling when i purchased Decleor's Aromessence Ylang-Ylang oil. The lady behind the counter sympathised with my oliy skin problem and told me that this product would be the difference maker ... ...rather exotic oil I paid £30. I just hoped it was worth it.
The oil is actually a blend of other plant ingredients as well as Ylang-Ylang which is what I believe makes it so effective. And yes, I too thought there is no way I can put an oil on to an oily skin, but was told that the product would rehydrate my skin, thus keeping excessive oiliness at bay.
AM and PM after cleansing and toning, you must put no more than three drops on to the skin. ...

...hyperpigmentation) I started using decleor ylang ylang after seeing demostrations of the decleor neroli oil (funnily enough) on QVC and after reading reviews and product recommendations, I decided that the Decleor Ylang Ylang would be best for my oily acne prone skin.
For the past seven moths I have been using 3 drops of the ylang ylang oil evenly distributed over my face (using the rain drop movements) after cleansing and underneath my moisturizer ... ...natural and has a very soft aroma which I personally find very soothing. You really only need a tiny ammount and I suspect on occassion I have gotten a little carried away! This is a waste as this stuff is not cheap (though worth every penny!)
