I'M A PROFESSIONAL STRIPPER!!!
Advantages: Removes wallpaper quickly & cleanly Disadvantages: Steam nozzle for smaller areas has to be purchased separately
...Ta da…!
The BOSCH PTL I WALLPAPER STRIPPER A safe and powerful little machine, which promises to "Take all the hard work out of redecorating." Bosch's claim is 100 per cent truthful and the only downside is that we have now run out of rooms to redecorate. It was very therapeutic exercise gently peeling away layers of wallpaper in a continuous strip. No hacking away with a scraper was necessary and the walls were left smooth as a baby's bottom.
... ...market, but I found the Bosch Wallpaper stripper simple and effective to use. There is an instruction leaflet which comes with the product and it's easy to follow. Should you lose it, the usage and safety instructions are clearly and concisely printed on the top of the unit and are exactly the same as the paper instructions. The machine would be even better if it had been supplied with an additional, narrower steam plate for awkward and narrow wall ...

Not so soapy
Advantages: easy application Disadvantages: quite expensive, non durable
I first came across sugar soap when I bought my house just over a year ago. The previous owner was a heavy smoker so, before we could paint the walls, we had to prepare the surfaces and remove the nasty yellow nicotine staining.
We tried sugar soap concentrate, which worked well, but found that this was hard to apply on the ceiling as it had to be squirted directly on and it tended to drip off. That's why when we saw these sugar soap wipes in homebase, ... ...of 24 wipes cost approximately £3, which was pretty expensive as we had found that the concentrate was only marginally more expensive and this lasted for quite a few applications. The wipes were a decent size, but I felt, once using that they could do with being a little larger to make using them more easy. They smelt slightly of the sugar soap but there was no unpleasant smell, although I felt I still needed to use rubber gloves when using.
It ...

dulux paint pod
Advantages: easy to use, affordable,no need for ladders. Disadvantages: paint a bit pricey, colours not a great range to choose from
we got our new paint pod and a bucket of paint as we seen it advertised and thought that's great as long ass it does what it says it does.
so we got it unpacked started to set it up according to instructions,we also got the extra extension tube and long reach handle makes a big difference when trying to reach the top of the wall's.
with it all set up as directed in the instructions.we got started and the first five minuets of painting we had the ... ...the joint wear the pipe connects to the extension pipe so i left the paint pod off for ten minutes to allow the paint at the joint to dry and act as a seal next problem was the handle started to have excess leak and was running on to my hands and the problem was pressing the trigger in to long it takes a bit of getting used to as to when to apply more paint a bit of trial and error and i had it working great in all it took me about 20min to paint ...

Dulux Paint Pod performance
Advantages: No dustsheets needed, Disadvantages: Paint expensive, poor cleaning, fiddley
Well I got round to painting my front room. I saw this advertised on the TV and so thought I'd look on youtube to see what people are saying about it. It looked quite promising after seeing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqJ5T1lHq18 so off to B&Q to pick one up. i was suprised to see there was only about 20 colours on sale. I picked the bottle of paint and a 'Pod' and paid at the till. When I got home i took it out the box and read the instruction ... ...decorating and switched it on. Shortly after starting I noticed the transparent rubber cover over the paint trigger started to come out of its housing. this gave me a couple of problems, first, the pump wouldn't activate when I pressed the button. Secondly when I did get the pump working it wouldn't stop as the rubber cover kept the button pressed. During painting I had the change between the spout and the roller. The first couple of times had to ...

My new bbf .........well worth £35!
Advantages: Paints perfectly. Cleans its self amazingly. Great for landladies/lords who cant afford painters Disadvantages: Can be heavy, noisy roller can spit fluff Paint range is still quite limited and expensive.
Painted Living room, Hallway, Bathroom, Stairway walls and landing in one day!!
Brought the paint pod while on offer £35 for the pod and £40 for two paints when brought at the same time. I got 1 color for my living room and 1 for my other rooms
Instructions are easy granted I just skimmed over the picture diagrams, set up takes about 15 mins.
I painted the first wall in my living room which is a decent size in 2 mins but realised the trick to ... ...do lots of coats is to roll slowly like the man in the ad and you will only need to do 1 or 2 coats as the paint is spread more thickly and gives a better finish.
The edging brush is amazing and I will buy another one of these just for the fact you dont need to cover your skirting boards light switches and sockets with masking tape because it is so precise. Apart from the triangle shape the brush has been thinned out at the tip so paint will not ...
