Tefal Maxi Classic Deep Fat Frier My Mum bought me my Deep fat frier for christmas, she was sick of worrying that I’d have an accident with my stove top chip pan. (God...do you still remember those?). I had actually asked for one and was pleased with my present. GOOD POINTS: Easy to use... I have gone through a few deep fat fryers (mainly because instead of cleaning it I just get a new one!!!) Anyway at the moment I have this one and so far I am impressed with it, even without a timer. Seems easier to keep clean somehow than the white ones. BUT don't do what I did ........... Have the actifry for about a week and its fantastic first thing we tried was chips i used marris piper potatoes and they were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle best chips I have had in a long time, Since then we have done pork chops, roast potatoes, vegtable still fry, home made garlic mushrooms ( a good dash of garlic powder mixed with the oil ), curried chips, sausages all off which have tasted great.
