Deep fat frying and no more scrubbing for hours!!!
Review of Delonghi F600 by
kidpudding
Advantages: Good size, removable filter
Disadvantages: Where to store??, cleaning done frequently
...boys I have found the Delonghi F600 "chips with everything" deep fat fryer useful, if not an absolute necessity in my kitchen. It is a must for chips, as well as chicken, mushrooms, onion rings and anything else that can be fried (and usually is when used by the boys). Not only does it cut down on the smells in the kitchen but it also cooks the food in a fraction of the time.
The only problem I have had is the cleaning, which has to be done quite ... ...the Delonghi range, the cleaning process is laborious as there is no outlet for the used oil.
It does have a variable thermostat, which is a definite plus along with the volume of food that can be cooked. Another advantage with this fryer is that it has coolwall.
There is also a changable filter which is situated on the top of the door of the fryer, just behind the viewing window, which does not need a screwdrive to remove it.
All in all I have ...

Delonghi Deep Fat Fryer
Review of Delonghi F 24502 CZ by
jad1965
Advantages: Oil drainer, easy to keep clean
Disadvantages: Check oil tap is closed!!
I have gone through a few deep fat fryers (mainly because instead of cleaning it I just get a new one!!!)
Anyway at the moment I have this one and so far I am impressed with it, even without a timer. Seems easier to keep clean somehow than the white ones. BUT don't do what I did ........... I unpacked it, rinsed it out, put it together, filled with oil and left on kitchen top for later............................ when I walked into kitchen I saw ... ...tap was off, yes all the oil had come out, all over unit and floor. SO remember to check the tap is off. But at least I know it works, and when the oil needs changing I should now manage it without having to buy a new one!!! Also makes lovely chips! ...

Chips Chips and more Chips
Review of Delonghi F350 by
happygoluckygirl
Advantages: Small, easy to clean
Disadvantages: not for big loads
I have had a few deep fat fryers in my time and always hated the thought of cleaning them well when i found this one i was delighted. Its small and compact has a 1.2 oil capacity and a 0.7kg food capacity which is great if you are not wanting to cook a lot of chips etc. Another thing that always annoys me about frying is the odour that can be produced and this one has a great anti odour and steam filter with a filter control indicator. Because its ... ...kitcen worktop it has non slip feet and cord storage so there are no cords getting in the way when its not in use., The outside wall is cool to touch so even if you were to touch it accidentally no harm done. It also has an adjustable thermostat for cooking different types of food. It has a good safe sturdy baket with fold away handle again for safety measures this is fantastic especially if you have children in the house. Ive left the best for last ...

Political correctness - not for me!
Review of Delonghi F17300 by
MHam
Advantages: Cleaning system
Disadvantages: The price
...we succumbed to buying the Delonghi Deep Fat Fryer.
So why choose Delonghi?
The main motivation in our search for a chip fryer was that it must be easy to clean. I remember very clearly the horrors of draining the fat and spending way too much time cleaning the thing. So there was no other choice for us, we wanted the Delonghi because of the cleaning system. The box contained the fryer itself, a chip basket with a detachable handle and a strange ... ...The main advantage of buying Delonghi is without a doubt the cleaning system, each time we use it we wait for the fat to cool and then drain and clean it, so we will never again have a yucky greasy fat fryer. Cleaning each time also keeps the fat cleaner as all the crumbs that gather at the bottom are drained off each time. They recommend that you replace the fat completely after 8 uses, but be honest, how many of you who have a fat fryer have ever ...

==Kenwood DF520==
Review of Kenwood DF520 by
travellinggardener
Advantages: Good to cook with. Easy to clean.
Disadvantages: Rather large to store.
Kenwood DF520
I have found this fryer to be an efficient addition to my kitchen. It is rather bulky so advisable to have a cupboard to store it in, for, if you are like me, it will only be used on a few occassions. It cooks well with a good range of temperatures and has a reasonable sized basket for the food to be cooked. It is rather spoilt by the viewing window becoming hard to see through once cooking has commenced as it appears to steam ...
