No Not a Deep Fat Fryer

Advantages: Quick and easy
Disadvantages: A bit greasy

This was a joint present for my self and hubby but I think he will use it more than I will. It has been used about 6 times, and out of those 6 I think I have used it once. I think once the novelty wears off, he won't use it as much. I know that deep fat fryers are one of the most unhealthy ways to cook things, but they are handy to have. For a start chips taste much better when cooked in a deep fat fryer, (and I don't mean from the chip shop, much ...
...home. Chips will probably be the only thing that gets cooked in it. Ok so enough about me, I will get on with the product review. Now this was a present from my mum and dad, and I think mum got the idea after I saw hers and said that must be so easy to clean. And it is so easy to clean, as it comes almost completely to bits. So what do you get? The instruction manual is very small and not a huge amount of information with it, but there really is ...

...slider temperature control - Electronic timer - Power and ready light - Innovative carrying handles - Cable storage This fryer is so simple to use. Put the oil in to minimum or maximum level, I always use the minimum, put the basket in the oil and close the lid, set the temperature by sliding the temperature control across. Wait for the light to go out when the oil has reached its temperature. Open the lid carefully and bring the basket up, ...

Great Kenwood Deep Fat Fryer

Advantages: Great Fryer - with Coolwall - very easy to clean
Disadvantages: none so far

We bought this to replace our old Delonghi fryer and we havent been disappointed yet. It holds 2 1/2 litres of oil at its maximum level and 2 litres at the minimum. The heat setting is adjustable via a roller wheel towards the bottom of the unit and this makes it very user friendly. The lid is easy to open and the basket is very easy to remove from the bowl and also very easy to put back in. The great advantage of this fryer is that it is exceptionally ...
...are completely dishwasher safe. Making this fryer very friendly to use and to keep clean. The bowl is removable which makes it so easy to clean the rest of the unit. It has an integrated filter in the lid, which is also washble. The temperature control knob is very easy to use. We paid £54 for this deep fat fryer when it was on special offer in Comet. We'd looked on the web and Comet was the cheapest we could find at the time. An excellent product ...

HUBBY THAT CAN NOT GET ENOUGH

Advantages: completely dismantles for esay cleaning, small in sze
Disadvantages: none

...decided to go for this Kenwood model, firstly because of its size and it stated it was easy clean, just what I was looking for. It was more expensive than some of the others but was actually on special offer with £10.00 off, so I grabbed it and brought it home. FEATURES: It is bright white in colour and has a 0.8 kg food capacity, which is a lot smaller than most, as they are usually 1kg or more. It has a permanent lid filter, which is great, no ...
...old fryer. Non-stick coated aluminium bowl, which is removable for easy cleaning The lid, basket and body are all fully removable too, which aids the cleaning brilliantly. They can be put in your dish washer, if you are lucky enough to own one. The actual control module clips out from the bottom of the machine, which is the only part that cannot be washed. So basically everything can be totally dismantled for easy cleaning, which is fantastic. ...

Cook works signature compact fryer Price and availability I bought the cook works signature compact fryer from Argos in the sale which meant it cost less than £10. It is currently on offer for £12.99 and its RRP is £19.59. Cook works is Argos own brand and so is only available at Argos. My experience and useful information I bought it from Argos but kept in packaged up in the box for a few days as I was expecting it to need a ...
...a small litre bottle. When I removes it from the box it was much smaller than I expected and a small stainless steel casing. I rinsed out the fat compartment then filled with oil. It was pretty simple to figure out the fill level as there is a minimum and maximum line. The minimum is 0.6 litres and a maximum of 0.8 litres. There is a temperature guide that suggests the temperature of various items ranging from 90 to190 degrees. There's a dial on ...
