I first bought Deferrums after they had been recommended to me by my mum who has two cats. Hers are outdoor cats but they still suffer with hairballs and often churn them up in the living room or other carpeted area. When I got my cat five years ago, I decided he was to be a house cat. He was shy and nervous, and seemed scared to leave the house. As a result of this I had to be careful what I fed him because he wouldn't be running round outside burning off any excess weight.
