After a cold and damp 2008 summer we were suffering from condensation and mould problems in spite of extractor fans in both kitchen and bathroom. Time to dehumidify! We bought our DEM 10 at Curry's for £99.99. It is compact, easily moved with a fold-out top carry handle and absolutely idiot proof in use. Dampness is a thing of the past Advantages: Everything it does Disadvantages: None to note While it's wet outside but not hot enough to put the heating on inside i've had a few problems with dampness in the basement and on the ground floor. This product has been a godsend!! Within a day the air felt lighter and fresher, and the smell of damp had completely disappeared! When it's a damp day outside i'll put it on for a few hours and cannot believe the amount of water it takes from the air - it's reassuring to think that that water is now ... ...is really light weight so can be taken to any part of the house and is really silent. The noise is just a quiet hum which isn't disturbing in the slightest. I've noticed that clothes are quicker to dry when it's around and mist from the shower disappears really quickly. The only downside is leaving it on over night in the same room which you are asleep in - I've woken up feeling really dehydrated as a result. De'Longhi in the house Advantages: auto stop and humidistat function Disadvantages: instructions could have been more in depth We have been having ongoing problems at our flat for the last few months and have found mould growth to be a serious problem. ebac dehumidifier is best Advantages: reputed company ,easy to use,automatic,shows automatic display.
