Advantages: No upload/gallery fees Disadvantages: Relatively new for UK sellers, needs promoting!
No fees to list, repeat listing again no fees, therefore you can liost as much as you want to try it out.
Fair fees on final sales, and if you want to have additional items like BOLD, but even the gallery pictures are included unlike others allowing just the one.
Bought a few items there so far & listed a few too, easy to repeat & edit for a new sale.
No need really to use any listing agents, no forced methods of payment either, lets the buyer ...

After many years selling on that major auction site I became disgusted with their increasing charges and started selling on DELCAMPE. -A site based in Belgium and specifically dealing with COLLECTORS items - Stamps, coins, postcards, books, and the rest.
My experience has been mixed, Yes there is the enormous advantage that sellers pay nothing to list their items, and only a very reasonable fee on sales. This does however have the disadvantage that ... ...which stay on for ever.
I have found that my sales so far are very slow. The site is mainly aimed at French speaking buyers, and although some of these have been easy to deal with, others have not, The site has the facility for buyers to make lower offers, sometimes Very Very low offers.
At busy times the site becomes Very slow to navigate, Overall I would say that at present Delcampe is better for the buyer than for the seller. However this may ...

I've been using the Delcampe auction website for years, having switched from trading a certain four-letter rival at a time whern Delcampe was still free for sellers and buyers alike. Those days may now be long gone, but Seb Delcampe and his team make a commendable effort to make trading, quick, easy, relatively inexpensive and good fun. Initially, the main focus was on classic collectibles like stamps, postcards and coins, but the website has rapidly ... ...Originally, Delcampe was a French/Belgian site, but the interface was in (pretty good) English. Just recently the company has branched out and now has websites in several countries and languages. The English could be improved.
Attractive features include the free listing of up to three images, lots of space for item descriptions, a wide range of sale periods, virtually automatic and free resale up to 999 times and other attractive options, including ...
