# A Dell introduction #
The business Dell was founded by Michael Dell in the summer of 1984 and was named 'PC limited'. Dell was one of the first pioneers within this new stream of business; the only competitors they had was IBM, and IBM was saturating the market. In those days the speeds were 2k per processor. Dell wanted to find away to quicken up data processing and developed a workable prototype. In 1985 he managed it with a flabbergasting 8MHz processor speed. Michael was on his way to being a success in the US and has gone from strength to strength. Revenue 2006>> just over 56 Billion.

Advantages: Eats Alienwares for breakfast, boots in 15 seconds Disadvantages: Flimsy case, some fan noise (Radeon?)
A victim of Alienware's ads, appealingly designed cases and smooth talking gamer oriented marketing I had spent months busily saving money away from an Area-51. I would frequently check the PC configurator to see how far my hard earned money would go. I had pictured myself trouncing foes with my fully powered Alienware - but for my budget of around £3,200 Alienware gave me a Pentium 4 - 2.53 Ghz, a CD-RW drive and the pre-requisite ATI Radeon 9700 Pro graphics card. The same budget at Dell got me a Dimension4550 where I could trounce an Alienware owner spending the same amount.

Advantages: Lightweight, small, durable, pleasant on the eye Disadvantages: Case can get small scratches on it
I have personally purchased one of the flash drives as I am an IT student and i need to transfer a lot of data.
First of all, these memory sticks are very lightweight and really small. It includes a split ring which is on the stick which can be attached to any keyring to prevent losing it.
This specific flash drive has 256MB of memory space on it. This is quite a substantial amount if you are going to hold files, folders and small graphics on it. It is very fast at transferring files, there is hardly any need to wait around. It is nearly an instant transfer.
I wouldn't recommend this flash drive for anyone that was going to use it for very large graphical files and to hold lots of music files. Music files are very large and this flash drive is likely to hold around 2-3 albums worth. That is what i have found from my own ...
