Measurements...
The screen is 30cm, almost 12 inches horizontally. And 19cm, 7.5 inches vertically. The actual top part of the frame is 33.5cm, 13.25 inches horizontally. And 24cm, 9.5 inches vertically. The bottom part of the frame is obviously just the same as the top part.
When the laptop is shut is measures just over three cm which is 1.25 inches. So it isn't that thick but there again isn't super slim either.
Battery...
The battery cable for this laptop stretches from one end of a small room to the other so is quite long. It charges up to four hours and there is a little battery icon which is filled in blue when it's fully charged and goes down as the battery level goes down.
