A quick point before I review this… It is a desktop computer. The picture ciao have put up is of a laptop/notebook, but the Dimension 5150 is most definitely a desktop! I'll try and get the picture modified!

My parents have had this computer for a couple of months now and it's grand!
It arrived safely, no bits missing or anything like that and was a doddle to put together. As with most new systems everything is pretty much ... ...nice to find out that Dell had pre-installed all of the software we had ordered with the package. Windows XP home edition, Norton internet security (antivirus, firewall, email scanner, etc.), Microsoft Works, Encarta, Autoroute, Power DVD and numerous bits and pieces designed to help you use your computer to it's full potential. This was perfect for my parents, no messing around so just plug in the modem and we're sorted. The obligatory Windows updates, ...

Advantages: Looks good, Easy to use, Great Sound, Reliable, quiet Disadvantages: Annoying mouse provided, gets slower after time, Random loud vibrations.
...of Soho sex toy. The Dell Dimension comes with a standard USB connected keyboard which is ok and a standard PS/2 mouse which is alright. Although i have since changed my mouse and mousemat for easier browsing and use. The desktop was easier to put togehter clear instructions provided and commons sense was all that was needed. Ive used the desktop alot as its mainly for college work. Still with two 150GB hard drivess I have only used up about quater ... ...system it came with ( Dell 525) speakers and sub woofer deliever a powerful sound output at a good quality. The computer has 7 usb ports, two of which are located on the front, and five on the reverse. When turned on, was fast quiet to use Dell had pre installed software already to what we ordered. ITs also fairly good for games however i will be upgrading parts as they are getting dated I plan to upgrade the GFX card as its only an ATIx800 a standard ...

I did a lot of looking around, saw a lot of good reviews about Dell, and the occasional bad review, but mostly this was about their systems being hard to upgrade (have to use Dell parts mostly) and that the customer support wasn't great. The prices... more
