I bought a dell XPS a few months back. Heres my comments on it. At first i booted it up and wow! exceptional speed right form the box, no setup needed. easy to setup might i add. I installed my first game which was a very graphically demanding game and viala worked a breeze. Turned graphics right up and everythign was great! NO laggy graphics whatsoever. I would have to say it is a great computer if you are the type of person that loves to game and does not know much about computers. If you know quite a bit about computers and can build you own, then by all means get out there and build you own pc!! Buying a prebuilt computer will always be more expensive. If you have the money this computer is well worth the cash.
The computer itself looks impressive. The lights on it are cool to show off. Also, if you are one who does not liek noise then this is for you. Very quite computer.
I have had no reliability problems with it. If i did Dell's waranty would cover it. Luckily i have not had to claim anything.
The disadvantage for this i would say though is that the computer case itself is very large... I do suppose this imporves airflow and provides space for all the serious hardware you have in it!
