I use this machine at work and it is a good work horse machine, although it is a little dated now it is still able to keep up with the latest software and add ons. However it is connected to a main server, so this machine would be ideal for small business use. Definately check it out but you may want to consider spending a little more for more memory and other enlargements.
I have found that it is ok to burn CD's, present power point presentations on and also you can download video. mpegs. jpgs and other cool stuff. However I would suggest that this be used with a broad band connection as this helps speed things up.
Overall a good basic machine, that offers value for money, but look for a machine with bigger specifications if you want to use more up to date programmes and such like.
