Advantages: Good value for money, enough room to expand, simple but sufficient Media Center included
Disadvantages: Often too noicy for living room, big format, media center does not include TV

The Dell Dimension is a good solid mid-to-high mid range computer. In the minimum configuration it provides enough speed and storage capacity for work and home use including basic multi media. In the high end range it also is good for some more serious multi media work. For just work and surving it is too powerfull. I think in total it has about 7 USB ports inclusing the front access one which comes in useful with memory keys. Also the on board sound card somes with 5 channels. Advantages: Very, Very Easy to set up and use. Looks good.
Disadvantages: Order printers & accessories at time of buying because they are expensive later

This has to be idiot proof - when I received delivery of it I was worried because of all of the different boxes and discs but thankfully all of the hardware and software was loaded onto the computer and the discs were given for future use. The computer itself was colour coded to make it easy to connect the wires in the right places! Excellent. Also I bought the black version so from a girlie point of view it also looks good!
