Introduction
The Dell Dimension which Retails for around £279.99 when i brought it is a Dual Core Computer with 1GB RAM & Windows Vista Home Premium. The Computer is in a Low profile case which restricts the upgrades as there are only a few Low Profile upgrades.
Processor Power
The Dell Demension C521 Comes with the AMD Athlon 64X2 4000+ which is Clocked at 2.0Ghz but as of the dual Core it can reach speeds of up to 4.0Ghz..
Ram
The Dell Demension C521 Comes with 1GB of Ram. But it is Adviseable to upgrade to atleast 2GB Ram If you useing Windows Vista and atleast 4GB Ram if your going to use Windows Vista and Advanced Games.
The Good Points is the Size of the Machine but this is ideal if you have no room or a small space. The Other Good points are is that it comes with Built in Graphics which are 128MB.
Bad Points
The bad points are again the Size. The problem with the Size of the Machine is that it is very hard to upgrade and add additional harddrives.
The Upgrades have to be Low Profile which are harder to find and sometimes are more pricey then the Standard Profile.
The computer size stops you adding additional harddrives as of the size. you can only fit one harddrive in the machine and 1 X DVD-RW. This can cause problems if you have no room on your harddrive and need additional space. but 250GB is Ideal if you just using the computer for basic gaming.
The Computer should of came with 2GB of Ram as that is the recommandation. 1GB can run Vista but when you upgrade it to2GB you will Notice a large Difference
Overall the Computer is very good vaule and Dell have done a great job. I think dell should make more room for additional Upgrades and make it easier for there Customers to Upgrade.

Good Review - you would think that there would beupgrade room - most people have more than 1 hdd now :)
