Well i bought one of these to come along with my XPS- meaning GAMING. Gaming requires lots of pixels and good quality screens with good colour. Well this was perfect! There is not a single problem i cna find wiht this monitor. Reliable, fast response time, clear colours, bright, adjustable, sturdy, and not a single dead pixel.
It fits very nicely in on my desk and its not an ugly lump and junk sitting around makign my room look like junk. Design is nice and modern. It has a very sturdy deisgn to it and clearly shows dell's engineers are trying to bring you a quality piece of equipoment here. The screen size is lovely- not too large and not too small.
I recommend this monitor if you do anythign that involves graphics (ie graphic designer, gaming etc).

...monitors with their budget class systems. The Dimension E520 comes with the 19" E196FP LCD screen. It is a good size that should work well for most consumers. In addition, the system comes with a GeForce 7300LE graphics card. While it states that it has 256MB of memory, it really only has 128MB and supplements this with 128MB of system RAM. This is a step up from the integrated graphics of most budget systems though.
In terms of the software, Dell doesn't provide much with the Dimension E520. Users pretty much get the operating system along with the Works 8 productivity suite, but security applications are separate....
