Advantages: Portability, Graphics Card, DVD Rom, WLAN, Hard Drive Space. Disadvantages: Microsoft Works, Not up to Next gen. Games, Screen Rectangular, Speakers.

Advantages: Hardy machine, durable, good support from dell online also. recommended Disadvantages: Poor battery, power pin loose, screen loose, both tightened up.
...over a year know, and Dell over all I would recommend as a hardy piece of kit. No wonder they are number one as anyone wanting a realiable and good working machine then you can do no wrong then a dell. Only a few quibbles but mainly down to 3 people using the laptop everyday, the power plug became loose meaning the screen would flicker and charging would be intermittent. The battery is on 29wh very poor 1 hour bad from dell but after all its a budget ...

I for one, absolutely love the look of this acer. The bottom of the laptop just looks really cool, and the top looks ok too. One only criticism on the look, would be that the plastic at the tip of the screen is a little thick, but then again it does have more
