I got this laptop late last year (though its not just mine!) and I think it is a lot better than my old laptop (Which was also an inspiron, but obviously an older one!).
I haven't had any problems at all with it and it has improved so much! One of the best points for me is speed! The speed of the laptop loading time is great! I hate when your waiting for so long just for your laptop to boot up so I was happy with this laptop as sson as I used it! The screen quality is great, the colour and the fact that it's so big! The touchpad is great but sometimes you have to press it a few times for it to respond. The LED lights look really great and I love it that it's good quality and looks good. I have the black cover one as I don't really mind what the front looks like though it is a bonus the inside is so pretty!! It's a really thin laptop to me but sometimes I'm scared I'll break it really easily. It's also not to heavy considering how big it is as it's widescreen. The battery lead plugs into the side the other inspiron models which is a bit odd at times. I've also noticed that the battery lead comes out quite easily from the side.

Overall I think it's a great Laptop and would definetly reccomend it to people!

Review of Dell Inspiron 1525
Advantages: Can take it into Best Buy for Geek Squad. This is convenient, because Best Buy has many locations. Disadvantages: Slow, keypad breaks easily, internet issues, overpriced.
