All we know that DELL is a trusted brand for Laptops and desktops. Dell Inspiron is a combination of powerful features and better performance.
I bought a dell Inspiron 1525 on 21st Feb 2009. I bought it from a retail store in NOIDA( Delhi, India) . I found several features which make it different from others. First of all there is vast selection of colors. You can select blue, green, red, white and many more colors available. They have a separate color covers which they can place on any dell Inspiron to change the look.
As I am a programmer so, windows XP will be better for me in comparison to windows vista as vista does not support various softwares. I described the problem to them. They just told me to buy a DOS based Inspiron and the price is also deducted RS. 2000. Its a great surprise for me. Now its my choice and I am independent to install any Operating system on it. All the drivers are available on DELL website related to every Operating System it supports. But the retailer has also supplied me the drivers. very helpful.
The Inspiron has a 2 GB RAM installed on it. On my demand they installed a extra 2 GB of RAM in just Rs. 2500. I also told them that I don?t want the carry case. They have also deducted the price of carry case. User Friendly. Now I am free to buy any carry case based on my choice.
I like their way as customers are free to choose any thing and free to leave anything. Just take what you want.

This laptop cost me Rs. 41000 with 4 GB RAM and including all taxes.
The laptop performance was brilliant. I have installed XP, Oracle, Dreamweaver and java application and found that it is working fine and speed is also great. I will suggest you if you want to buy a cheap workstation Laptop. Go for it.
Picture quality is also fine. What is dislike is the silver keyboard. It should be black .The silver touchpad may also produce spots in future. But the rest things are great.

Advantages: Can take it into Best Buy for Geek Squad. This is convenient, because Best Buy has many locations. Disadvantages: Slow, keypad breaks easily, internet issues, overpriced.
