    Advantages Advantages Good value, well built, great wireless, everything built in

    As I previously owned a dell desktop I decided that if I was to get a laptop then I'd consider a dell. I've had the laptop 8 weeks and have yet to find fault. Being new to Vista is the only problem I had. The wireless is fantastic and will connect to virtually anything. The memory capacity and recovery drive are fantastic. The laptop comes complete with everything you need. The controls are easy to use and unlike a lot of laptops the touch pad is responsive. Only ptherproblem I have had is the charger which after just 2 weeks decied not to work. I contacted Dell and the next day there was a ... more

    Dell Inspiron 1526 I bought this laptop about a year ago for £500. I bought it with 2GB memory, a 250HDD, 2.3 GHz AMD core 2 Duo and a 256Mb graphics card. I bought this laptop mainly for my schoool work but it is still good enough to play newer games. It came with Windows Vista Home Premium which i thought slowed down the system so I installed Windows XP on it. It did, as i thought it would, make the laptop faster. In the 13 months i had this laptop it never overheated (even when trying to overclock it) Its design makes it more comfortable to write long essays (emails etc.) The laptop is also ... more
