I don't own one of these but my friend has just bought one and i've had a fair go on it. Plus i've watched him on it for hours so i thought i'd leave a review as no-one has yet.
From my experience people like Dell because they produce value for money products to a high standard. Other people are put off because they are not a shop, but i know people who have had a couple of problems with dell and Dell have managed to sort out the problems no fuss. So i don't think this hsould put people off.
The Laptop -
This laptop has many great features. It's performance is fantastic and it does everything you need it to do. It's quick to start up and runs at a satisfactory speed. It is a stylish design and isn't too heavy. When buying this there is an optional screen resolution sizes to choose from. It comes with Windows Home Vista on it which is a great program too. It's easy to find your way around if your not already used to using Windows and if you are...then it's still nice and easy to find your way around! The screen size is a 17 inchwidescreen which is a great size screen for you to see what your doing.
The only bad comment i will make is that i did think it was a bit big for every day use if your carrying it places. It's great as a home computer or if you need to take it out every now and then but apart from that i would want something smaller for every day use.
I have used this laptop for typing up coursework and surfing the net. I think it's a great laptop and would recommend it to others.
