Dell Inspiron 1720 is another great release by Dell.It is built to enjoy wireless connectivity and a multi-media experience in a colorful 17 inch laptop which is equipped with upgraded hardware for next-gen gaming and mobility. This laptop has a lots of great features and is really good but to understand its superamacy with ease we should know about its specifications. It has an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5850 (2.16GHz/667Mhz FSB/2MB cache) processor. It supports all the new versions of windows(Operating Systems) and is installed with Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium Edition SP1. It has a glossy, high contrast, widescreen 17.0 inch LCD panel display (1440 x 900). it has an optical drive:CD / DVD writer (DVD+/-RW Drive). Memory is 3GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz. While hard drive is quite large in size: 320GB2 SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM). It is compitable with 128MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8400M GS for next gen gaming and a High Definition Audio 2.0 sound card. And other features are: Wireless Networking CardsDell Wireless 1395 802.11g Mini Card Battery is 85Whr Lithium Ion Battery (9 cell) System Color is in Midnight Blue In the Nutshell, this is a worth having laptop.

(+) cool and quite robust trackpad, good display,64-bit windows 7 (-) few connectors,dell drivers only, not realy for gameing (most models), finger print prone!
