I bought this latop around march 2007 and I am still using it now, I am at colleage and I use this laptop heavily on a daily basis. The programs I am usually running on it are; Paintshop, iTunes, Windows Media Center, Windows Live Messenger, and Also I play games at high spec on it. The Laptop copes very well with the programs I run, and so far I have had no problems with it (touch wood!). The Laptop includes windows vista home premium, Vista is much better and easier to use than xp, although the vista operating system takes up more ram memory, therefor you will not to be able to run some programs as fast. The things you can do with Vista is amazing. One of the new features of windows vista is windows media center, with this you can easily acces your photos, videos, browse your music and devices and you can also watch DVD's and online media. Also one thing I have done with Windows Media Center is watch TV, with it, to do this you will need to buy a TV usb adaptor which are around £20. Finding files and programs is very easy using vista, you can just search for any file in the start menu. Syncing with devices such as a PDA is very simple becuase the new Windows Media Sync lets you drag and drop any file onto or off your connected device.

The wireless on the Laptop has a very long range, I could easily be outside or in my garage and still have full signal. The laptops speakers are very good compared to other laptop speakers, but if you do like your sound to be crisp I would consider buying laptop speakers. The Laptop looks stunning and has a very nice glossy screen. The battery life on the laptop is a downside, when traveling to london I watch DVD's on it and I am lucky if the Battery lasts 2 and a half hours.

I would say if you are looking for a laptop for casual use at home, this laptop is the one for you. This laptop is excellent for playing games, Syncing with Mp3 players and PDA's, Editing photos and making DVD's and just surfing the net is easy!
