...might not have thought of Dell as being your initial choice for gaming laptops, but well in my view, you should convert after this.
On paper, the Inspiron 8500 looks like a bargain, but it's unlikely that first glipses will leave you in awe and wonder. It is grey and blue, there is no match, which puts it in the same league as an executive machine, not a power gaming laptop.
All this is quite relative, so the real power is shown on boot up. It ... ...full of nice touches, but dell could have been more generous with the ports. The two USB 2 connectors will be quickly filled with webcams, mp3 players and anything else that you would find glamourous for attention, leaving the perellel and serial ports largely redundant. There is also a firewire, for those of you who do have a glittery iPod.
As this is a Centrino laptop 802..11b wifi is provided as standard. Sadly though, there are no mamory card ...
