Had this for over a year now as a laptop for work. My spec is ...14.1 in - CPU: Intel® Celeron® M Processor 360 - 1.50 GHz, 504 MB of RAM Phillips CDRW/DVD, and the best feature....a Dell Wireless 1370 WLAN Mini-PCI Card (Wifi card).
Overall this laptop has been extremely reliable considering I have been using it every day for at least 10 hours a day, and quite often longer than that (with the kids using it in the evening).
I've had a few problems with it but most have turned out to be mainly software rather than the hardware itself. I have however had to buy a new battery as the first one ended up lasting for only about 10 minutes. Also the standard Dell AC adapter had to be replaced as the end that goes in the back of the PC is bent when you receive it and gets very weak when it's straightened out - when you put in on a table etc. - so that a wire must have come loose inside the cable (although this was under warranty from Dell at the time...)
Also noticed the other day that it does not have a Ps2 port in the back for a mouse but the three USB ports are more than adequate
It is also extremely rugged as I have dropped it a few times when the case has not been zipped up correctly, knocked it off the table when the cable has been caught, kids have picked it up by the screen! its been stood on and and even now it is still in extremely good condition. (Note to my boss - always accidentally!!)
I can highly recommend this model if you are thinking of buying it but if second hand check the battery life and AC adapter as well!
Update 04/09: Just as an ongoing saga, I dropped it again a couple of weeks ago and the CD/DVD drive stopped working - Yesterday my son knocked it onto the floor again and the CD tray came out of its holder. I put it back in and now its working fine again!!! Just like hitting the top of the TV !! ;-)

(+) cool and quite robust trackpad, good display,64-bit windows 7 (-) few connectors,dell drivers only, not realy for gameing (most models), finger print prone!
