(+) Can take it into Best Buy for Geek Squad. This is convenient, because Best Buy has many locations. (-) Slow, keypad breaks easily, internet issues, overpriced.
(+) Build Quality, Connection, Graphics, Keyboard, Webcam and Mic, Ease of Use, Speed, Quiet Running. (-) No graphics drivers for 64 bit operating system. No big deal. Hopefully soon they will have them
(+) Clear easy instuctions, Looks very smart, Light and easy to transport, very durable (-) Screen could be slightly bigger, battery doesn't last very long

the dell latitude is basically the working mans laptop, its design is quite simple and looks a bit boring to be honest.
this is a solid piece of epuiptment and will proably last you quite a while. it has Intel Core 2 Duo T7300, 2.00GHz processor which is pretty fast, also it has a massive 4gb of installed ram, which is the most iv seen in a laptop before. all this makes it run so fast which is great for demanding programs which need alot of memory. it also has a 160 gb built in hard drive which is really all anyone needs. also the best thing about this is how portable it is, it only weighs 2.4 kg whereas most weigh 3-4 kg. it has a 15.4 inch screen which is not small but is ok because of its portability.
basically if you want somthing which is super fast then really get this, however if you want somthing cheaper and your not too bothered about the specs then id get somthing a little cheaper. slos this isnt great for gaming and videos so if you want your laptop primaraly for media purposes then just simply get an entertainment laptop. thanks.

I own this Dell Latitude D830 it is a very fast, very reliable piece of equipment. It has dual core so its pretty good for gaming also with a very good video card. I wouldn't recommend it for the highest newest games but its very good to get you playing some of the recent games. It runs all sorts of O.S. so thats a plus. Compatible with most software. It can hold up to 4 gigs of ram. Easy lite weight, goof for the average business man and or student. ... ...items. Comes with some good dell utilities too. Such as blue tooth, secure storage, embassy security, and also my favorite a TRACKER. So if it is ever lost or stolen you can call tell and they can track it down. So all in all its a very good piece of equipment. I recommend it ! ...

All in all this is a great laptop for the price and would recommend it to anyone. I had a d600 for two years and had no problems with it until the battery finally died.
