the dell latitude is basically the working mans laptop, its design is quite simple and looks a bit boring to be honest. this is a solid piece of epuiptment and will proably last you quite a while. it has Intel Core 2 Duo T7300, 2.00GHz processor which is pretty fast, also it has a massive 4gb of installed ram, which is the most iv seen in a laptop before. all this makes it run so fast which is great for demanding programs which need alot of memory. it also has a 160 gb built in hard drive which is really all anyone needs. also the best thing about this is how portable it is, it only weighs 2.4 ... more

I own this Dell Latitude D830 it is a very fast, very reliable piece of equipment. It has dual core so its pretty good for gaming also with a very good video card. I wouldn't recommend it for the highest newest games but its very good to get you playing some of the recent games. It runs all sorts of O.S. so thats a plus. Compatible with most software. It can hold up to 4 gigs of ram. Easy lite weight, goof for the average business man and or student. The look is sorta unique in its own way. If your choosing a laptop you must make certain trade offs, the Latitude D830 maximizes those trade offs to offer a powerful and fast laptop with great battery life and a big, easy to use display. The laptop is bigger than what I am used to, and probably close to 7or 8 lbs with the battery, but for a laptop with this size of screen, that is pretty much to be expected. Battery life has been over 5 hours with a full charge. Dell support Isn't the best, but you should know that I'm reviewing the actual laptop here, not Dell support. I use my laptop all day every day for work in the office and in the field and have done for the last 12 years so I have experienced quite a few machines over the years. This Dell is the best value for money by far, easy to use looks the part in presentations without beig flashy or overspeced and has never ever let me down. I might not use a massive amount of functions or carry huge programs but for solving problems and presenting solutions to my clients this is the best I have had and would have no hesitation what so ever in recommending it to anyone working in the Financial Services industry ... more
