What it has is Dell's unique ability to customise your machine before you buy. If you know what you want and most of us do, you can spec your machine to them and they will build it to your requirements. Alternatively they will offer you a base model that they reccomend.
They come in a Black Tower format so that it is easily stowed under or on a desk. If you have racks for your servers, you can ask for a rack mountable casing instead.
Inside the server you will find lots of powerful technology. Although shipped with one, you have the ability to mount an extra Pentium 3 chip to aid the existing chip if the load is expected to be heavy or to cover in the event of failure. There is also 2 fans to keep it extra cool. The front of the server is even covered in a grille type layout to aid cooling. Getting too hot is one of the major problems with overworked servers and leads to it breaking down.
Storage is catered for by the ability to have up to 6 Drives installed. this can give you up to 564Gb of internal storage for data. The 128Mb of RAM is far too small but you can install extra RAM at a later date or ask for more on purchase. In fact, you can install up to 6Gb of ram! it relies on RAID controllers to channel everything which is good too.
